Individual Therapy
A room where it’s safe to actually talk.
One-on-one therapy for fathers who are carrying more than they let on — and ready to put some of it down.

Most men come in having never said any of this out loud.
Not because they don’t want to talk. But because there’s never been a room where it felt safe to — where they didn’t have to protect someone else from what they were feeling, or perform a version of themselves that had it together.
Individual therapy is that room. It’s where you get to put it all down — the pressure, the doubt, the distance you feel opening between you and the people you love — and start to understand what’s actually going on underneath.
You don’t need to be in crisis to be here. You just need to be honest that something isn’t working.
What brings men through the door.
It looks different for every father. But there are themes that come up again and again.
Sometimes it’s a specific thing — a transition, a rupture, a pattern that keeps repeating. Sometimes it’s harder to name than that. Just a feeling that something isn’t right, and that you’re the only one who can see it.
- Feeling like a provider but not a present father
- Anger or reactivity you don’t understand and don’t want to pass on
- Distance from your partner that keeps growing
- Not knowing who you are outside of your role
- Patterns inherited from your own father — good and bad
- A transition that’s shaken up everything you thought you knew
- Carrying more than you can carry alone
How it works.
Reach out
Send me a brief email — just mention whether you’re looking for in-person or virtual sessions.
We talk
A short phone chat — you tell me a bit about yourself and what you’re looking for, ask anything you’d like about me and my practice. Confidential, no charge.
We begin
If it feels like the right fit, we schedule your first session and get to work.
My approach
Warm. Direct. Honest.
I’m a husband and father of three daughters. I understand what it’s like to love your family with everything you have — and still feel like you’re losing yourself inside of it.
Every man who sits across from me is dealing with something different. The work follows you, not a formula. I’ll be straight with you about what I’m seeing, and I’ll ask the questions that are easy to avoid.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and CBT. I also draw on Relational Life Therapy — Terry Real’s approach to men, masculinity, and relationships.
The practical details.
